The logistician supervising the transportation or the freight forwarder asks suppliers for detailed information about the declared goods and commodity lots, specifies readiness and terms of shipment from the factory or warehouse. The received information is passed on to the customers by the specialists. Based on the data received from suppliers, we analyze the goods for compliance with applicable laws, make preliminary preparations for the transportation of a consolidated cargo:
- We calculate and inform customers of the preliminary delivery cost;
- Blocking the container for cargo assembly;
- We prepare and coordinate delivery routes and draft supporting documentation with customers;
- We develop the container layout according to the customers’ delivery/unloading schedule;
- We conclude direct contracts for container transportation with transportation companies;
- We prepare a package of documents for customs support.
When suppliers notify us that goods are ready for shipment, we will arrange delivery of the shipments with a set of original documents to our consolidation warehouse. During the delivery of all goods, we provide the necessary conditions in the temporary storage area for each batch of goods. In the warehouse we process, label, reconcile goods by article, check completeness and packaging. After that, we form a consolidated cargo in the container according to the unloading order scheme. SPIKO GROUP specialists prepare a package of documents for transportation and send the cargo along the destination route.
The forwarder supervising the delivery organizes customs clearance and constant monitoring of the condition and movement of the prefabricated cargo. The curator informs customers about the movement of cargo, if necessary, promptly solves current issues arising in the delivery process.
Collected cargo arrives at the logistics center of SPIKO GROUP, where managers call customers, notify them about the arrival of the cargo, as well as specify a convenient time of delivery and unloading conditions.
The container with the cargo is de-consolidated and then the goods are delivered to the customers.
