The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Russian Export Center (REC) are currently developing educational programs for entrepreneurs from Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the EEC Youth Council Ilya Kuzmichev.

“We are now with the Russian Export Center <…> We are working on creating educational products aimed at enabling entrepreneurs – not only Russian exporters and importers, but also entrepreneurs from the Eurasian Economic Union countries in general – to familiarize themselves with the products available at the Russian Export Center and to learn about the advantages, for example, of entering the markets of third countries with which the Eurasian Economic Union has concluded free trade zone agreements. It’s such a definite terra incognita for young entrepreneurs. We are doing such work,” he said, speaking at the session “The EAEU for the Young: Expectation – Reality” within the framework of the Second Youth Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the EAEU.

The Second CIS and EAEU Youth Forum takes place on June 7-9 at the federal territory of Sirius. During the strategic sessions, forum participants will develop their proposals for the development of youth entrepreneurship and its support from the state. The forum is attended by 150 young people from the CIS countries, as well as Cuba, which is an observer of the EAEU. On the same days, Sirius will host meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS countries, the Third Eurasian Congress and the international exhibition “Eurasia – Our Home”.
